Is respect something that every human being should be entitled to? I think respect should be given to each and every person, despite differences in age, race, height, or gender. No matter how pathetic a person may seem, they still deserve respect.
Justin Bieber is a Canadian who calls himself a pop artist. I cannot stand his music. In my opinion, his music is horrible and he is super annoying. I only listen to his music when I'm forced to by my friends. But no matter how much I can't stand the guy, I have to admit I do respect him. He's not even 20, and yet he has achieved quite a bit. The guy has become famous and wildly successful. His fans are obsessive, dedicated, and passionate. He has managed to create connections for his career, won a Juno award, has chart topping songs, and even his own perfume. Bieber isn't even out of high school, and already he has accomplished this much. Way more than most people can a lifetime. I still hate his music, and wish he had never opened his mouth, but he did and I have to acknowledge how much he has done. Looking at what he has achieved, I have to give the guy my respect.
Respect isn't something that can be applied to a person based on each circumstance. There are no exceptions; everyone has the right to respect. As soon as you do make even a slight exception even once, it continues to snowball out of control. Eventually, it becomes unclear who should deserve respect and what makes a person able to gain respect. Each person has accomplished something, and no matter how small their accomplishment may seem, it still is an accomplishment. They deserve to have their accomplishment recognized, and they should be respected for what they have done. Everyone deserves respect.

I like how you backed up your idea of respect by using Justin Bieber and effectively using that example to persuade me or other readers that respect should be given to all no matter how much you despite someone. Also,I like your concluding statement it answers the question you wrote at the beginning paragraph.:):)
